Families – Recovery/Rehab

Many of our patients suffer from brain injury, spinal cord injury and are medically complex or slow-to-recover.

Although methodologies such as the Rancho Los Amigos Scale are typically used to track stages of recovery, we find that the majority of cases don’t always go according to plan – and that’s where our highly trained staff and custom approach to care make a real difference.

We have a uniquely customized approach to care. Unlike facilities that are more rigid, at CareMeridian, because of our high staff-to-patient ratio and number of skilled therapists, we can easily and quickly adjust the amount of activity each patient receives.

We allow patients to go through their recovery and customized rehabilitation program at their own pace, providing encouragement in a total team environment. And we involve the families every step along the way, inviting them to participate in their loved one’s care whether the goal is to go home or to provide education and training to live in an as normalized environment as possible.
