CareMeridian Las Vegas Recognized with Customer Service Award
CareMeridian, a leading provider of post acute healthcare alternatives, announced today that CareMeridian Las Vegas Activities Director LaKisha Harris was presented with a Customer Service Award by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce at its Customer Service Excellence Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. LaKisha joined CareMeridian Las Vegas in 2006.
The Customer Service Excellence Program was created and is managed by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to encourage and reward exemplary customer service throughout Southern Nevada. All recipients were nominated by someone (customer, supervisor or coworker) who noticed the nominee giving excellent customer service.
“We are really excited that LaKisha received this award,” said CareMeridian Las Vegas Administrator Sheila Weeks. “She truly exemplifies CareMeridian’s commitment to customer service to our patients and their families and to creating a caring environment conducive to quicker recovery”
CareMeridian entered the Nevada marketplace in 2004 with its 18-bed facility in Las Vegas. In 2010, CareMeridian Las Vegas doubled its size and added an additional 17 beds to open a pediatric wing, which serves as the only subacute pediatric facility within the state of Nevada. The location offers a 1:4 staff-to-patient ratio, the most innovative equipment and individualized care plans.
