(May Irmcher is the mother of Loren Irmcher, who was the first resident at CareMeridian’s Sacramento facility when it opened its doors 11 years ago.)

”Cleanliness is the first thing I think of when I walk through the doors at CareMeridian. Unlike so many places, it is spotless and the staff, collectively, is always smiling and positive.

“Loren was severely injured in a carnival accident in Bakersfield 11 years ago and I think he’s become the staff’s pet project. They even seem to spoil him sometimes, but I know they treat everybody that well, which is a wonderful testimony to CareMeridian.

“Eleven years is a long time, but I have never had one complaint about anything. That alone should tell people know how I feel about CareMeridian.

“I especially appreciate the numerous birthday and holiday parties that the staff schedules. It gives the facility and its residents such a warm and happy feeling and it certainly helps in their recoveries.

“Thanks to his gifted therapists, Loren continues to make progress. And the love, warmth and attention that he receives make Sacramento his real home in his heart.
