Testimonials
Chris Maes
(Chris is the mother of Amanda Arthur, who suffered critical
injuries in an automobile accident and came to CareMeridian’s
Cowan Heights facility in a coma.)
“I feel CareMeridian was a real blessing in our lives. The
care that Amanda received was remarkable. We couldn’t be more
pleased that (Director of Nursing) Rita (Pathmanaban) and her marvelous
therapists treated Amanda with such compassion, professionalism
and dedication.
“She was at Cowan Heights for four months with traumatic
brain damage. Thanks to the staff, she is now working three days
a week in an oncology office, recently received her driver’s
license and went out and bought a car, much to our surprise.
“As a family, CareMeridian’s top-notch people were
a great comfort to our family as they worked with Amanda as a team.
They also went out of their way to make us feel at home. Starting
with Rita, the staff gave us all of its love and best effort. Cowan
Heights is a very special place, with very special people.
“Because Amanda was captain of her Newport Harbor High School
song team, she had literally hundreds of visitors. Knowing how much
they could help in Amanda’s recovery, CareMeridian staff made
all of those visits possible. It was something to see and we are
deeply appreciative.
“Our experience with CareMeridian was truly a memorable one.”
